A municipal garbage truck blocks the railway at an unguarded crossing in the northern town of Larissa yesterday, during a protest sparked by the death of a woman and two of her young daughters when their car was hit by a train Sunday night. Municipal officials, who organized yesterday’s one-hour railway blockage, want the railway company to install barriers and warning lights at all unguarded Larissa crossings.
