Bad weather forecast postpones Patra carnival launch

An official opening ceremony to launch this year’s Patra Carnival has been postponed due to a bad weather forecast, local authorities announced on Thursday.

The opening, originally scheduled for Saturday, was now expected to take place on January 23.
