KEELPNO says five have died, 35 sick in hospital, from flu
Five people have died and another 35 are in intensive-care after contracting flu over the past few weeks, according to the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO).
The organization said the majority of those in intensive-care have Type A flu and have not received their seasonal jab despite belonging to groups that are considered vulnerable, such as the elderly.
KEELPNO said that the number of flu cases in Greece is currently on the rise and warned Greeks to take precautions.
