Strike to close Greek Citizens’ Information Centers Thursday
Workers at Citizens’ Information Centers (KEPs) will be on a 24-hour strike on Thursday and are planning a march to the Interior Ministry in downtown Athens.
The union representing KEP employees is demanding more staff and training, arguing that the service is continuously being tasked with new duties.
It is also calling for protection of the salaries of longtime workers from further cuts.
