Athens 2004 Organizing Committee chief Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki addresses volunteers for the Olympics opening and closing ceremonies at an audition in the northern Athens suburb of Maroussi yesterday. Officials are seeking some 8,000 volunteers for the ceremonies, who, according to the 2004 president, ‘should be in good shape.’
