Another 8 people killed by H1N1 virus in Greece

Twelve new cases of the H1N1 strain of flu were reported on Wednesday, according to the Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention (KEELPNO), which added that eight people had died from the virus in the previous 24 hours.

KEELPNO said 108 H1N1 patients were being treated in intensive care units across Greece.

The virus is expected to peak by the end of February, the center added.
