Health Ministry addresses syringe shortage
The Health Ministry said on Saturday that it has already taken action to ensure there is no lack of syringes in the public healthcare system after a report claimed that there were shortages recently at hospitals in Piraeus and the Aegean islands.
The ministry issued a statement saying that it is in “constant contact” with the hospitals and has already secured the necessary quantities of syringes.
