We must correct mistakes, or Potami ‘will disappear,’ Theoharis says

One day after he resigned as parliamentary spokesman for Potami centrists, Haris Theoharis on Wednesday said he will remain as an MP of the party.

Speaking at Potami’s congress over the weekend, Theoharis, a former general secretary for public revenues, raised objections to the way the party is being run. The congress later reelected Stavros Theodorakis as leader.

“I did not question the [party] leadership but criticized two or three specific policy decisions,” Theoharis told Antenna TV on Wednesday.

“If we do not correct these mistakes, Potami will disappear,” said Theoharis.

There has been speculation that Theoharis will leave Potami, which is currently polling under the threshold for Parliament, to join ND.
