Two arrested for alleged drugs possession

Two men were arrested in Agioi Theodoroi near Corinth Thursday after anti-narcotic officers found more than 5 kilograms of heroin hidden in flour packages that were in their possession.

According to police, the two men, aged 30 and 37, had purchased the drugs from a Roma camp in Aspropyrgos in western Attica, but were intercepted by anti-drug squads after a car chase on the way to the port town of Patra, where they intended to forward the stash to heroin pushers operating in southern Greece.
