Parliament to discuss developments in justice on March 21
Parliament will debate the latest developments relating to the justice system on Monday, March 21, it was decided on Thursday.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras requested the discussion after allegations that Alternate Justice Minister Dimitris Papangelopoulos interfered in an investigation into businessman Andreas Vgenopoulos and the collapse of Laiki Bank in Cyprus.
Parliament’s Institutions and Transparency Committee, which wants to call Papangelopoulos to respond to questions, will convene in the days after the parliamentary debate has been held, it was decided.
