Twelve members of anarchist group arrested outside Hilton Hotel
Twelve suspected members of the anarchist group Rouvikonas (Rubicon) were detained during a protest outside the Hilton Athens Hotel on Wednesday.
The group's members erected a banner at the hotel's entrance in protest to ongoing negotiations between the Greek government and the country's lenders and partners regarding the conclusion of a review of Greece's new bailout program.
The establishment is hosting delegations of the country's creditors and partners, while meetings between the Greek government and representatives of the EU, ECB and the IMF also take place at the hotel.
