Man arrested near Athens for selling rented cars
A 32-year-old man was arrested on charges of forgery and fraud in Aspropyrgos on Monday for selling rented cars to unsuspecting buyers.
Police said the man would rent vehicles and then pose as a car rental company employee authorized to auction off cars.
At least nine people were sold cars at discount rates and received forged documents.
The man appeared before an Athens prosecutor on Monday while police are also looking for an accomplice.
