Moderate quake hits Crete

A moderate undersea quake, measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale, struck the island of Crete, south of Ierapetra, just after 3 a.m. on Saturday, but there were no reports of any injuries or damage.

The quake’s epicenter was located in the seabed south of the coastal town of Ierapetra.
