Nikaia hospital dialysis center director shot in the leg
The director of the dialysis center at the Nikaia hospital, near Piraeus, was injured on Thursday after two unknown assailants shot him.
According to state broadcaster ERT, the victim was a passenger on a vehicle when the two perpetrators approached the car and shot him through the window.
Early reports suggested he sustained injuries on his right leg. He was being treated at the Tzaneio hospital, while an investigation regarding the incident was under way.
