Unionists hold finance ministry sit-in
Unions representing Greek tax office employees conducted a sit-in at a Finance Ministry building in central Athens on Thursday. Unionists said they were protesting a bill that would make the General Secretariat for Public Revenue an independent authority.
The legislation is part of a multi bill tabled in Parliament late Wednesday.
Union representatives argue the bill is unconstitutional.
