Anonymous militants claim attacks against ruling SYRIZA offices
Unidentified assailants on Thursday claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on the offices of the governing SYRIZA party last week in a post on an anti-establishment website.
The statement on the Indymedia site – referring to the attacks that took place between May 11 and 13 at offices in Kaisariani, Vyronas, Pangrati, Ano Patissia, Halandri, Glyfada, Dafni and Kypseli – said the time for SYRIZA to choose between supporting the country’s “downtrodden” or its “ruling elites” is up, and accused the party of opting to side with the latter.
