Alleged dog killer faces prosecutor

A 45-year-old man who allegedly tied a dog to his car and drove around the town of Krestena, in the prefecture of Ilia, western Greece, dragging the animal along the ground until it died, faced a prosecutor Monday on charges of animal abuse.

A 61-year-old, who is believed to have been in the car with the younger man, was being sought by police on Monday.
