Golden Dawn trial to be moved from Korydallos prison to Athens court

The trial of Golden Dawn’s leadership and dozens of supporters, which has been conducted at a makeshift courtroom in Attica’s high-security Korydallos Prison since April last year, will be moved to the Athens Appeals Court complex, it was decided on Tuesday.

The move was announced by Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos Tuesday following months of appeals by authorities and residents in Korydallos, the families of GD victims and the presiding judge at the trial, Maria Lepeniotou.
