Missing migrants rescued off Lesvos

Two missing migrants have been rescued by coast guard officials off the Aegean island of Lesvos.

The two were missing after their plastic boat, which was carrying about 70 people, sank off the island’s southwest coast earlier on Thursday.

All passengers have been transferred to the Moria hot spot, near the island’s capital Mytilene, save a pregnant woman and a child who are being treated at a local hospital.
