Man dies after being hit by car on Argos-Nafplio highway
Greek police in Nafplio, in the Peloponnese, were on Wednesday questioning a 34-year-old motorist whose vehicle hit a 53-year-old man walking along the national highway connecting Argos and Nafplio on Tuesday.
The 53-year-old was initially transferred to the general hospital in Argos before being moved to a specialist hospital in Attica, where he died of his injuries on Wednesday.
The Nafplio Traffic Police were seeking to shed light on the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
