Man, 88, shoots 26-year-old neighbor in Laconia
An 88-year-old man was expected to face a prosecutor in Gytheio after allegedly shooting a 26-year-old neighbor in the area of Areopoli, Laconia prefecture, on Saturday following a dispute over property differences.
The 26-year-old sustained minor injuries, according to local reports, while the 88-year-old was taken to hospital to be treated for shock.
Once discharged, the elderly man was to face charges of attempted manslaughter and illegal weapons possession.
