Larnaca-bound plane makes emergency landing

An Airbus 320 that took off from Thessaloniki’s Makedonia Airport bound for Larnaca on Saturday was forced to carry out an emergency landing at Athens International Airport due to a problem with cabin pressure.

Before landing at Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, the plane circled above Aegina to use up fuel before attempting the landing.

The aircraft, belonging to the Everjets budget airline, landed safely without any injuries to passengers or crew, sources said.
