Turkish plane enters Greek territory 17 times

A Turkish CN-235 transport plane violated Greek national airspace 17 times in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean Wednesday.

According to reports, the craft was identified and intercepted according to international law.

This was the latest in a string of airspace violations and also comes in the wake of reports that Turkish submarines had repeatedly entered Greek territorial waters in September, prompting Athens to file a complaint with NATO.
