Tsochatzopoulos makes third early release appeal

Former defense minister Akis Tsochatzopoulos on Wednesday made a third appeal for his early release from Attica’s high-security Korydallos Prison, where he is serving a 20-year sentence for money laundering.

Tsochatzopoulos’s lawyer, Yiannis Pagoropoulos, appealed to a criminal appeals court to release his 77-year-old client, citing health problems, adding that he feared for his life while in prison.
