Traffic stop leads to crackdown on forgery workshop

Police found document forging paraphernalia in a car in Nafpaktos, western Greece, on Thursday, and arrested two men, aged 64 and 44.

The pair were reportedly stopped by local traffic police for a routine check.

A search of the car yielded civil service seals, forged IDs and machines to make fake documents.

Police found more incriminating evidence after a search of the homes of the suspects, who were to appear before a local magistrate.
