Man arrested in Thrace on child pornography charges
The police cybercrime unit of northern Greece has arrested a 24-year-old man for the alleged possession and the online distribution of child pornography.
The suspect was traced in Thrace, northeastern Greece, after a prosecutor lifted confidentiality restrictions when police presented the results of their investigation.
After a search of the suspect’s home, police said they confiscated 6,000 digital files and found evidence he was distributing child pornography to internet users abroad.
