Quake, 4.7, hits Kilkis

A 4.7 Richter earthquake hit the town of Kilkis, in northern Greece, early on Saturday.

According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the tremor’s epicenter was located 18 kilometers west of the town.

Several aftershocks followed the initial tremor, though there were no reports of injuries or damage.
