PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

Prokopis Pavlopoulos. This is not his first stint in government. In 1989, Pavlopoulos was deputy minister to the prime minister in the capacity of government spokesman in the all-party government led by Xenophon Zolotas. A close associate of the current party leader, in 1990 he became legal adviser to the Presidency of the Republic. Since 1995, he has held key posts in the New Democracy party, initially as political adviser to Miltiades Evert, press spokesman and since 2000, a parliamentary spokesman.
