Two minors drown after car plunges off quay on Lesvos
Two minors drowned after their vehicle plunged off a quay at the port of Mitilene on Lesvos, early on Monday. One of the two victims was driving the car, early reports suggested, while another 3 minors managed to get out of the vehicle.
The incident occurred at around 3.30 a.m. near the old town hall, state agency ANA-MPA reported.
The three minors were in a state of shock and were being treated at the Mitilene Hospital, while an investigation was under way Monday to determine the cause of the accident.
