Hollande says Greece must be treated with dignity

Greece must be treated "with dignity" in the row over the eurozones suspension of debt relief, French President Francois Hollande warned on Thursday.

"I want Greece to be treated with dignity and to stay in the eurozone," Hollande said as he arrived at an EU summit in Brussels.

On Wednesday, the eurozone froze a short-term debt relief deal for Greece in response to Athens' announcement of a one-off payout to low income pensioners.
