Temperatures drop below 0 Celsius in northern Greece
Northern Greece was gripped by another cold front on Friday with temperatures dropping below zero in many areas.
The lowest temperatures were recorded in Nevrokopi at -18 degrees Celsius, Ptolemaida at -9 degrees and Florina at -7.
Freezing weather also gripped Thrace in northeastern Greece, with temperatures in Orestiada and Alexandroupoli plummeting to -9.
