Greek judge appointed VP of European Court of Human Rights

Linos Alexandros Sisilianos, an eminent Greek judge and professor of international law at Athens University, has been appointed vice president of the European Court of Human Rights, it emerged on Wednesday.

In a statement, the Justice Ministry hailed Sisilianos’s appointment, saying the judicial official was “once again recognized for his ethos and superior level of training.”
