Health and justice ministries pave way for medical cannabis
A joint decision signed by the Health and Justice ministries opening the way for the import of cannabis-based pharmaceuticals was published in Friday’s edition of the Government Gazette.
As noted in a statement issued by the Health Ministry, the medicines that the decision applies to have been proven beneficial for treating chronic pain as well as the nausea caused by chemotherapy as well as other serious ailments.
