PASOK chief criticizes Tsipras in wake of US visit

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’s official visit to the United States fell short of upgrading strategic ties between Athens and Washington, PASOK chief Fofi Gennimata has said, while criticizing a reported 2.4 billion dollar deal to upgrade Greece’s fleet of F-16 fighter jets.

“For yet another time, the prime minister said much, and promised even more, but he is returning empty-handed. He received cost-free niceties and signed to a 2.4 billion bill,” she said.
