Camera-destroying Frenchman arrested
A 22-year-old French national was arrested shortly after midnight on Monday as he smashed surveillance cameras outside the Culture Ministry building on Bouboulina Street in Athens with a crowbar.
Police said he had already managed to smash two cameras before they reached him and that they found another camera in his possession.
He was expected to appear before a prosecutor on Tuesday on charges of causing damage to public property, theft and resisting arrest.
