Police bust major cannabis-growing operation run out of Attica villas

Four Vietnamese and one Chinese national, aged between 28 and 35, are facing multiple charges of running a criminal organization, violating drugs laws and forgery after police raided three fully equipped labs used for growing and processing hydroponic cannabis.

The labs were located in three luxurious villas in eastern Attica and searches by police at the properties led to the confiscation of more than 2,100 cannabis plants, as well as equipment.

Investigators believe the profits from the operation could have amounted to 4 million euros.
