Capital’s main tram route to be disrupted for 3 months
The tram will stop running between Syntagma Square in central Athens and Vouliagmenis Avenue for three months from this Sunday, it was announced on Tuesday, so that work can be carried out to improve the stop at Syntagma.
All trams heading toward the center will halt at the Vouliagmenis Avenue stop, from where passengers will have to continue their journeys by metro or bus.
Tram services on the route are scheduled to return to normal on Saturday, March 10.
