Bus, trolley services to be rerouted for Erdogan visit, demos
There will be changes to and suspension of some bus and trolley bus routes in central Athens over the next three days due to the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and demonstrations to mark the ninth anniversary of teenager Alexandros Grigoropoulos being shot dead by a police officer.
The Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) said that the police would be closing roads in the city center from 10 a.m. on Tuesday until Erdogan’s departure on Friday.
