Athens metro workers call 24-hour strike on Friday

There will be no metro service in the Greek capital on Friday, as workers walk off the job for 24 hours.

The strike has been organized by the SELMA union to protest provisions in the administration’s latest omnibus bill which change the rules governing strikes by unions.
