FYROM PM to visit Turkey on Sunday
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) will travel to Turkey on Sunday for a two-day visit on the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim, it was announced Friday.
Talks are expected to focus on bilateral and regional issues.
“One of the most fundamental elements of the strong brotherhood between the two countries is our compatriots living in Macedonia,” said a statement from the prime minister’s office, which also expressed Ankara’s support for Skopje’s EU and NATO ambitions.
