The new street-cleaning fleet…
The new street-cleaning fleet of the Athens Municipality was unveiled on Monday before Mayor Dora Bakoyannis under the city’s Lycabettus Theater. The fleet includes 70 extra garbage collection trucks, 34 state-of-the-art street-sweeping vehicles and special vehicles for cleaning garbage dumpsters. Dozens more vehicles are to boost the fleet which has been created as part of the municipal ‘Clean Athens’ campaign.
