Pedestrian, 36, killed on capital’s Syggrou Avenue
A 36-year-old woman was killed in the early hours of Thursday morning after trying to cross the capital's busy thoroughfare Syggrou Avenue.
The woman, a Romanian national, was hit by a car shortly before 2 a.m. and then hit by a second motorist.
She was transferred to the Nikaia general hospital where doctors confirmed her dead on arrival.
The two motorists were detained for questioning by police.
