Greenpeace environmental activists paint the slogan ‘No to genetically modified food’ on the hull of the UBC Beaumont freighter during a protest in the port of Preveza yesterday. The group claimed the vessel is carrying 18,000 tons of GM soya products, and called on port authorities to inspect the cargo before allowing its unshipping.
