Armed men hold up group of five in Thessaloniki

Three men armed with a gun and knives held up a group of five friends who were strolling around the commercial centre of western Thessaloniki on Monday night.

According to state-run news agency ANA-MPA, the thieves took small amounts the victims held in their pockets.

Police have opened an investigation into the case.
