The new tram…
The new tram is to begin operating fully in the first few days of July, and yesterday the price of tickets was set at 60 cents for adults and 30 cents for children under 18. Trips of up to five stops will cost 40 cents. The tram will operate around the clock and is expected to carry 80,000 passengers daily over its 26-kilometer (16-mile) route at an average speed of 23 kilometers per hour. The project, budgeted at 320 million euros, cost 380 million.
