A conservator walks…

A conservator walks through the halls of the National Archaeological Museum in Athens ahead of yesterday evening’s official reopening ceremony. Greece’s largest museum closed in October 2002 for an extensive refurbishment program which included the installation of air conditioning and wheelchair access facilities. The first story – with the world’s finest collection of ancient Greek pottery – will reopen in the autumn.
