One soldier killed, another injured in motorcycle crash
One soldier was killed and a second suffered minor injuries early on Saturday in a crash in Peristeri, western Athens, involving the motorcycle they had been traveling on, the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) said in a statement later the same day.
No details were released about the dead man’s identity.
The Attica traffic police launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, GEETHA said.
