Woman dies after being hit by car on Patission
A 61-year-old woman who was hospitalized on Thursday in a critical condition after she and another female pedestrian were hit by a car while standing on a traffic island on busy Patission Street in Athens has died, doctors at the capital’s Evangelismos Hospital said on Tuesday.
The woman died as a result of her injuries on Monday, they said.
The other pedestrian who was seriously injured in the same incident remains in the hospital.
