PM Costas Karamanlis yesterday served as one of three witnesses in the civil wedding of the daughter of Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan (c) in Istanbul. Other witnesses included Jordanian King Abdullah and Romanian PM Adrian Nastase. ‘I am very pleased and very honored to be part of this great ceremony,’ Karamanlis said. ‘A few years ago, this would have been unthinkable, a Greek prime minister being part of this ceremony.’
