Inmate stabbed in Hania prison dies
An inmate who was stabbed during a fight in a prison in Hania on the island of Crete on Saturday has died, authorities said Monday.
The victim, a Pakistani national whose name and age have not been made public, had been rushed to a local hospital with stab wounds to his chest and thigh.
A total of eight prisoners appeared before a local prosecutor Monday.
